Paul Clue

I love working with good teams made up of good people, teams that value graciousness, collaboration and inclusion. My last employer was a small agency that specializes in socially-conscious projects, and has a long history contributing to web standards like HTML and JavaScript

The AI Flashcard App

AI Flashcards - Personal Project

In this project I use ChatGPT-4o to create flashcards for people who want a quick hit of knowledge about any subject, idea, etc.

The AI Pic Classification App

Classify Object - Personal Project

In this project I use ChatGPT-4o(vision) to identify the main object in an image and classify it as a consumer product or not. The UI was built primarily for mobile.

The rate my professor RAG app

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) - Personal Project

In this project, I use ChatGPT-4o and the Pinecone vector database to create a chat bot that uses a custom knowledge base to help students acquire detailed information about a professor and the class they instruct. The knowledge base is a simple json file with sample data about fictitious college professors. I plan to add some improvements to the application. One improve is sentiment analysis to categorize professor and class reviews and provide more nuanced responses.

A little about me

Jamaica born - Brooklyn raised

I migrated from Jamaica to Brooklyn when I was six years old. Two years after migrating, my mother bought me a Nintendo. That beautiful Nintendo is what sparked my interest in coding. I very much loved to play the games, but I always wondered how they made them. In school I learned that people who worked as computer programmers were the creators of video games. It was that day in the fifth grade that I knew I wanted to be a computer programmer. However, the streets of Brooklyn had their own plans for me. Many years later, after learning some hard lessons and leaving the streets alone, I was able to settle down and focus on that nagging dream of becoming a computer programmer.

Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete? Proving nature’s laws wrong, it learned to walk without having feet. Funny, it seems to be keeping it’s dreams; it learned to breathe fresh air. Long live the rose that grew from concrete when no one else even cared.
